ABOUT AEROKAI

AEROKAI LLC is a veteran-founded defense technology company focused on developing practical solutions for soldier protection, thermal management, and operational effectiveness. Drawing on real-world military experience, AEROKAI approaches engineering from the perspective of the end user—identifying equipment challenges experienced in demanding environments and developing concepts intended to address them through research, prototyping, and testing.

AEROKAI’s mission is to develop practical technologies that reduce physical and environmental burdens on service members operating in demanding conditions. Our focus is on improving protective equipment through thoughtful engineering, rapid prototyping, and user-centered design—while preserving mobility, compatibility, and mission effectiveness.

FOUNDER

AEROKAI was founded by retired U.S. Army Sergeant First Class Angel M Ortiz Bello, a 20-year Army veteran and former Combat Engineer (12B). His career included service as a team leader, squad leader, Platoon Sergeant, Operations Sergeant, and S3 NCOIC. His experience operating with military protective equipment provides AEROKAI with an end-user perspective on the challenges soldiers face in demanding operational environments.
